Applications are invited for admission to full-time Ph.D Engineering program of the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) in August-2025 session for two seats under Visvesvaraya Scheme supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), Government of India. Following are the research areas at four participating CSIR Institutes:

Eligibility:

Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology (after a four-year engineering/technology degree or with an integrated 5-year B.Tech./M.Tech. degree or equivalent) with minimum 55% marks (without rounding off) or equivalent grade for General (UR)/General-EWS and minimum 50% marks (without rounding off) or equivalent grade for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD).

How to Apply: Online applications may be submitted at the AcSIR Online Admission Portal (http://acsir.emli.in/ACSIRAdmissionPortal/online-admission/portal/acsir-online-adm-portal/index.php#/). Following are the steps:

  1. Select New User Signup
  2. Select Session “Visvesvaraya August-2025”
  3. Fill all the requisite details and proceed with your online application.
  4. Pay the application fee (Rs. 1000 for General/OBC/EWS and Rs. 500 for the SC/ST/PWD candidates)
