The 7th Convocation of the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) will be held on 7th November, 2023 (Tuesday) at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.
Important Dates
Kindly note that the convocation time has been shifted to 10:00 am instead of the originally scheduled 02:00 pm. The rehearsal schedule remains unchanged. The details are as follows:

● Degrees will only be conferred upon graduands who were awarded their PhDs on or after May 12, 2022, and have not yet received their original degree certificates
● Registration through Google form for convocation attendance is mandatory along with the confirmation email to convocation@acsir.res.in for participating in the convocation ceremony
● Graduands who have registered to receive their degrees during the convocation must attend both the rehearsal and the convocation ceremony at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, DAIC, 15 Janpath, New Delhi-01, at 12:30 PM on November 6th and 9:30 AM on November 7th, 2023, respectively
Attendance on rehearsal day is mandatory, failing which the graduand shall not be allowed to receive the degree on the day of convocation.
Dress code: All graduands are required to wear formal attire
For males, the dress code options are as follows: White/off-white/ light coloured kurta/shirt with pyjama/trouser/dhoti,
For females, the dress code options are as follows: White/off-white/light coloured saree or kurti/kameez with pyjami/salwar
● Proper formal footwear is mandatory; wearing hawai chappals or flip flops will not be permitted
● The AcSIR gown and stole will be distributed exclusively to graduands between 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on November 6, 2023 (Monday) and must be returned upon the conclusion of the convocation ceremony on 7th November
● The recipients of the ‘AcSIR – Best Ph.D. Thesis Awards’ will be presented with their awards and citations during the convocation
Each graduand or awardee is permitted to have only one accompanying person.
● Please provide complete details of your accompanying person during registration on the rehearsal day, which is on November 6th. Admission to the convocation on November 7th will not be granted without this information.
● All graduands are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements to attend the Convocation.
● Graduands will have seating in the main convocation hall (BHIM hall), where the degree will be conferred.
● All accompanying parents or persons will be seated in the adjacent halls – Nalanda & Samrasta, where the entire program will be live-streamed. It may be mentioned that AcSIR has arranged live streaming of entire convocation on the AcSIR website and other social media platforms.
Only one seat will be allocated to each awardee of the Best Thesis Award and Prof. Baldev Raj Memorial award. If a representative is receiving the award on your behalf, please note that only one person will be seated in the allocated seat and allowed to receive the award on stage. Other accompanying persons should be seated in the adjacent halls.
● Private photographers/videographers will not be granted access to the venue. AcSIR will handle the photography for the event
● Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to attend the Convocation ceremony
● Working lunch will be provided on both the days.
